Dr. Desai loves working with children and their families every day to achieve healthier smiles. Going to the dentist can sometimes seem scary, but Dr. Desai wants to foster a comfortable environment that helps put patients and families at ease by providing comprehensive oral healthcare in a fun way.

Dr. Desai earned her dental degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then completed her pediatric dental training at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she also earned her Master of Science in Oral Sciences and a certificate in Health Disparities Research.

She is a board-eligible candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

She currently works full-time within the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at UIC, showing dental students and residents the ropes when it comes to pediatric dentistry. She enjoys fostering a love for pediatric dentistry in the next generation of dentists.
